All of our previous breedings have either been to Maxx or Prize.  So this is our first where we have had to step outside the box.  In deciding on a stud for Alli, we took several things into consideration.  The two major factors were build and temperament, knowing already that performance wasn't going to be an issue since we only breed to studs with fantastic performance histories.  Alli is long-legged and lean; she's relatively small-boned.  She is also full of desire, but has always had fantastic trainability -- a nice combination.  But we didn't want to combine that with a high rolling stud.  When we were told that Auggie has a fantastically laid back temperament and is relaxed both on the line and off, it virtually made the decision for us.  Moreover, we like what we see in his build and we think it will balance out nicely with Alli.

Alli is from a litter whose performance has undoubtedly been proven.  Her littermates and littermates from repeat breedings include not only a Field Champion (at 3 years of age), but also multiple all-age finishers, qualified all age dogs, as well as derby listed and pointed dogs, and master hunters.  Moreover, she comes from a litter whose genetic soundness has also been proven.

Although Auggie doesn't throw yellow, Alli is yellow factored, so some of her offspring will also be yellow factored.
