Because Allie preceded Joie in death by only a few days, I had not taken the time to do a memorial page to Allie. But I need to say a few quick words about her... Allie was the first dog Joie and I trained on our own -- she tolerated a lot during her early training as we struggled to figure things out. She was also the mother to the first litter we ever bred. And, in that first litter, she produced a National Champion -- 07NAFC Good Idea's Whoa Nellie, among many other successful field trial and hunt test dogs over the course of the four litters she had in her lifetime. She was an absolutely perfect companion and a joy to run in hunt tests. She was truly the princess around here, loved being in bed and traveling in the back seat of the truck around the country. I miss her terribly.
